Auto Blog: Green Culture , Ford , Green Daily , USA Click above for a high-res gallery of the Ford Fiesta sedan Anxiously awaiting the Ford Fiesta’s official arrival in the States? Well, have we got news for you! Ford is looking for 100 volunteers to take the wheel of its brand new subcompact for six months, documenting the process along the way. Want in? You’ve got to “have a presence on the web,” and be able to write well or be able to capture a good story on video. Ford’s “Mission Control” will send each driver “secret assignments” to fulfill along the way. Best of all: it’s all free. No charge to use the car, keep it topped up with gas or keep it insured. General Motors did something similar to this with its Project Driveway campaign , but that was for hydrogen-powered cars that have no real chance of making it into the driveway of an average Joe any time soon. The Fiesta, on the other hand, is a car that’s already sold in International markets, and it’s on-sale date is already scheduled in the U.S. as a 2010 model.
